COVID-19 Policy Update

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak we have to make a few changes to our normal policies:

1. We are not accepting any returns right now. This is for the health and safety of our staff as we do not know the health status of the person the return is coming from. That being said if anything is damaged, you only need to supply a photograph of the item and we'll send a no cost replacement.
2. The majority of our staff is working from home and our warehouse are working with small crews than normal to reduce the number of people working together at one time. This may cause your order to take a few extra days to leave our warehouse than normal. We're still working to make sure every order that can go out does go out. Things are just taking a little longer than normal.
3. Items that are on back order will take longer to come in than normal. Supply chains have had serious disruptions during this situation. If you are waiting on an item that was on back order, please expect it to take a few more months than originally stated due to the delays.
4. Made to order items are also taking longer. Some of our US based artists who hand make each product are not able to go to their workshops at this time. This is causing a delay in those items being made. Please be patient with the adjusted timeframes.

Do you have a catalog?
No, we do not have a printed catalog. We have over 3500 items on our website and a printed catalog would be much too large. You can use our website as a catalog and order by Phone, by Mail, or Online.

How much is shipping?
Orders over $75 get free ground shipping (continental US only). For orders under $75, shipping costs are calculated in real time by UPS. It all depends on what you order and where it is going. To calculate your shipping costs, add the items to the shopping cart and use the Shipping Calculator at the bottom of the Shopping Cart page. More information is below in our shipping policies section.

Will I get my order by Christmas?
We advise ordering as early as possible to ensure you get your items in time for the holidays. However if you need to order closer to Christmas, take a look at our Holiday Shipping Guide for ship times and tips.


Security & Personal Info:
Your personal information is safe and secure with Tate & Co. We will NOT sell or give your personal information to anyone or any company. You will also notice that we use SSL secure encryption technology on our checkout pages to protect your credit card information while you shop here. Secure pages will have a closed padlock icon (found in the lower corner or on the address bar) to verify this. In our opinion, shopping online (with a reputable dealer) is just as safe as conventional retail shopping. We do work with some advertising companies, such as Google, Bing, & Yahoo, that use cookies to track where our customers come from and how they move around our store. This information is never sold to anyone and is only used for our advertising purposes.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, & Pay Pal through our website checkout system. We Also will accept Checks & Money Orders as payment methods. Checks & Money Orders will not be a payment option when you buy from the website. See Below for instructions.

Paying With a Check or Money Order:
Please mail your check or money order to the address at the bottom of this page. Include a note with the items you wish to purchase, shipping address & phone number (include your e-mail address for notification of shipment). We will ship your products as soon as your check clears.

If your order is under $75.00 Please go through the first step of our check out process to find your shipping costs.

Paying with Pay Pal:
You can pay with Pay Pal using our regular check out system. Add items to your cart as you would for a credit card order. Enter your Shipping information in checkout and choose the Pay Pal option on the billing page. This will bring you to the Pay Pal website to complete your payment.

Returns & Exchanges:
All products are inspected for damage & defects before they are shipped. If you receive a damaged item, we will replace it at no cost to you. Please e-mail or call us before sending any items back. We will also gladly exchange any item which you are not satisfied with, just let us know what we can do to help. Please note that we cannot exchange items which were not purchased from Tate & Company. All returns or exchanges must be reported within 14 days of receiving your order. We offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If there is anything else we can do for you, please let us know.

For items that are custom made for the customer there is a $10.00 restocking fee if returned.

We guarantee the quality and condition of the item, not the box the item comes in. 99% of the time the condition of the boxes is good when they arrive to you. But things do happen in shipping. If you are a collector of the box and would like extra packaging, please let us know. We can accommodate you. There may be some extra cost for the packing and shipping. For Funko POPs if you do not order a protector case (if available) for the POP we do not guarantee the condition of the box.

Sales Tax:
Due to our location we are required to collect 7.00% sales tax for items shipped within New Jersey (this does not include clothing).

Back Orders:
Most orders are shipped same or next business day. We try and keep all the items we have on our website in stock. However, this is not always posible. Some items on our site may have a delayed ship time. This will usually be stated in the items availability. We can ship partial orders upon request. There is an option for this at check out called "multiple shipments". Be aware that the shipping cost may increase with this option.

Shipping Costs: Shipping rates are calculated in real time based on the weight or dimensions of the items you are ordering. To calculate your shipping costs, add the items you want to the shopping cart. There is a shipping calculator at the bottop of the shopping cart. Enter your shipping information there and it will calculate the cost of shipping.

If you are in the US, and do not choose a domestic shipping option we will default you to UPS Ground.

Free Shipping: We offer free shipping on orders over $75.00. That is for one (1) Ground shipment inside the continental United States. If you have both back/pre-order and in stock items in your order, the order will ship when all items are in stock (unless the multiple shipments option is selected at checkout). Shipping charges will apply for multiple shipments. If your order is under $75.00, shipping charges will be calculated at checkout. If you use an APO address there is a flat $8.00 shipping charge.

International Shipping: If you are outside the US please select UPS WorldWide or International Air Mail as your shipping option. In some cases shipping charges may not be calculated at check out. We will contact you with the shipping cost and the total before we charge your credit card.

Canada: For shipments to Canada, please select UPS standard to Canada or International Air Mail. Please be aware that there may be some taxes or import fees when the package arrives via UPS. If you would like your package shipped via Air Mail to aviod those charges, please make sure you choose that option at check out.

Gift Certificates:
Girt Certificates can be purchased on our website. The gift certificate will be E-mailed or Mailed to the recipient with in 24-48 hours of the purchase of the gift certificate (please specifly if you would like it mailed. The gift certificate can be used toward anything on our website (including shipping costs).
